What is IPTV service
Telsa Group was proud to be the first to launch digital TV service in Syria, and thus WAVES Internet Service Provider was the first to offer this service to its customers
This IPTV service is considered the actual development of watching satellite channels, which provides the viewer with an exciting experience that he cannot give up after trying it, due to its advantages of enjoying the high-quality HD image of many encrypted and unencrypted channels on a screen or on a mobile phone, in addition to the ability to re-watch any program within 48 hours
Also, this service enables the viewer to request videos or episodes of series that he wishes to watch through a large and diverse library of foreign and local sources
How IPTV works
This service allows you to watch TV channels, movies, interactive programs, votes and games on your TV screen via ADSL technology by connecting the screen to a special IPTV device called Set Top Box. It is simply a digital receiver with a network input that connects to the router and an HDMI screen output. This service can also be used via smartphones, computers and tablets. In this case, we do not need an STB device
The IPTV device can connect to the router via wireless network
The IPTV device is managed by a Remote Control
Care should be taken to choose a good quality STB with suitable specifications (processor, memory, wireless connection) to obtain a continuous image with good quality
Service advantages:
- Watch programs in high quality HD or standard quality SD

- Pause and continue watching for a certain period and then restart it

Service Operation Considerations
- The service can be played on TVs that do not have an HDMI output via signal converters
- This service operates on a separate package from the subscribed Internet package, meaning that the Internet speed has nothing to do with this service
- The success of this service for the viewer depends on the quality of the private copper line connected to the router and the distance between the house and the telephone exchange to which it belongs
